Free & Reduced Meal Applications for the 2026–2027 School Year Are Now Open!

Dear Ellensburg School District Families,
The online application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals: the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) application, is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.

Breakfast and lunch will be offered at no cost (FREE) for students attending the following Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)  and House Bill (HB) 1238 schools: Ida Nason Aronica Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Mt Stuart Elementary, Valley View Elementary, Big Picture, and the Early Learning Center. If your child(ren) attends one of these schools it is still important that you complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits (CNEEB) application so that you may receive additional benefits listed below.

If you have students at Morgan Middle School or Ellensburg High School and do not already qualify for free meals for your students based on participation in a federal program (SNAP, TANF, FDIPR, Medicaid, etc.), you will need to complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits (CNEEB) application to receive free meals.

By submitting the CNEEB application, households may qualify for:

  • Free and reduced price meal benefits for students enrolled in schools that are not participating in CEP
  • Summer 2027 EBT benefits 
  • Reduced fees for other programs and activities*
*Complete a Consent to Share Form here (so your meal eligibility status can be shared with other programs)

Additionally, completing this form ensures our schools receive vital state and federal funding to support classroom resources, technology, and support programs.
How to Apply:
  1. Online (Fastest): https://mealtimeapps.com/ (new, easier-to-use platform!)
  2. Paper Application: Hard copies are available on our website and attached to this message. Drop them off at your school's office the first week of school.
Note: A new application must be submitted every school year to maintain benefits.
