The Ellensburg High School staff and student body would like to invite you to represent your profession at the 2026 EHS Career Fair.

Event:       Annual Ellensburg High School Career Fair

Location:  Ellensburg High School Main Gym & Auxiliary Gym

Date:       April 29, 2026

Time:        7:30 am–11:00 am

 

Students will have the opportunity to ask a diverse group of career representatives a wide range of questions in an open, casual setting. Student questions might include:

 

1.        What does a typical day look like for someone in this industry or field?

2.        What skills or certifications are most important for success in your field?

3.        How is technology changing your industry, and what trends should students be aware of?

4.        Are there common entry-level positions or internships available in your industry? What qualifications are needed for those roles?

5.        What educational background is most common for professionals in this field?

6.        Are there opportunities for career growth and development within your company or industry? What do those look like?

7.        What advice would you give to someone considering this career path?

8.        What sets your company apart from others in the same industry?

9.        Does your company offer mentorship, training programs, or scholarships for students or new employees?

10.     What inspired you to choose this career, and what has been the most rewarding part of your job?

 

You may choose to provide a flyer that answers these and/or other career-specific questions, or simply dialogue with students on the spot. No formal presentation is required. Please feel free to bring any visuals, handouts, etc. that you think might entice/benefit those interested in following your career footsteps!
